Just A Game

See people it's all a show and we're the suckers that buy the tickets.   Politics is no longer the arena in which good men and women try to benefit their country with their beliefs and values, it has now become a stage on which to parade upon and see how well you can act to sell yourself to the masses.  This is the mindset of politicians now, and they wonder why people dont go to the polls anymore.  It's not a lack of interest in our futures it the true lack of anything genuine to care about.  I'm not naive enough to think that this has not always been present, but it seems that today it is more announced than ever before and its seems to be taking precedence over any and all major issues.  Where are the Roosevelts, where are the Kennedys, where are the damn Reagans of the age???  Are they now part of an extinct kind of politico? I surely hope not, because now more than ever we need someone to look up to and whether you look right or left they don't seem to be anywhere in sight.
