When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?

Well Karaoke nights are always a favorite of mine, yes I do need a couple of drinks before I get enough courage to go up and sing but last Thursday was a fine night of singing the perpetually man hating song by Carrie Underwood "Before He Cheats". Good time, good times.

Question 45

Someone very close to you is in pain, paralyzed, and will die within a month. He begs you to give him poison so that he can die. Would you? What if it were your father?

I'd absolutely detest myself after but I would give him the poison.  I think it would be selfish to keep him to live one more month in pain just so that I could put off saying goodbye.

You are offered $1,000,000 for the following act: Before you are ten pistols- only one of which is loaded. You must pick up one of the pistols, point it at your forehead, and pull the trigger. If you can walk away you do so a millionaire. Would you accept the risk?

No, I'm sure I could think of another way to make a million dollars, one that involves me being alive.  I know it's a 90% chance I'd get the million but I'm really not lucky when it comes to gambling, I don't think my luck would change much with this situation either. So thanks, but no thanks.

Question 43

When were you last in a fight? What caused it and who won?

 Well I got into a fight with my significant other, mind you it was verbal, I don't think anyone truly wins those fights.  I believe myself to be pretty eloquent with words so any verbal spat wouldn't really phase me but as I said a situation such as this wouldn't benefit anyone.  Physical fights, luckily I haven't been put in a situation where I would need to defend myself in that manner.  Though I guess that's where that kickboxing training would come in handy.

How would you react if you were to learn that your mate had had a lover of the same sex before you knew each other?

I think I'd be more curious than anything else.  I'd want to know more about their decision, I don't think I'd worry about anything else because of the fact that this person would have chosen to be with me.

Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire; after saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item. What would it be?

I would go back in for our old family videos; those suckers have a lot of history that's irreplaceable. I know the question says one item but we keep the family photos right by these videos so I'd probably grab those too.

Question 40

If the person you were engaged to marry had an accident and became a paraplegic, would you go through with the marriage or back out of it?

Aggghhh!!! Where's my morality?  Truth be told it really depends on how much I love this person.  Not all marriages are based on love so this would be circumstantial. If it were for different reasons than love that I'd be marrying this person, you bet I'd back out, but if it they were the sun that started my day I wouldn't have any other choice than to stay by their side.

Do your close friends tend to be older or younger than you?

My closest friends are all about my age with a difference of a few months, but as far as friends that I hang around with occasionally, all of them are older than me.

If you went to a dinner party and were offered a dish you had never tried, would you want to taste it even if it sounded strange and not very appealing?

One of my mottos is "don't down till you try it", I will always try a food at least once because truth be told smells can be deceiving.  If you just go by the look or the smell of something you might just miss out on a truly delectable dish.

What was your best experience with drugs or alcohol?

I'd have to say my best experience with alcohol (because I don't mess around with drugs, taken one too many psychology courses to put the fear of God into me to steer clear of that) definitely in Vegas.  It was in 2009, my best friend had just turned 21 and we went from club to club and bar to bar, meeting different people, making new friends, etc.  I think it was the best because I had a consistent buzz all night rather than getting blasted and I guess it's true when they say that it's the memories you keep that matter, haha.

If you knew you could devote yourself to any single occupation- music, writing, acting, business, politics, medicine, etc. - and be among the best and most successful in the world at it, what would you choose? If you knew you had only a 10 percent chance of being so successful, would you still put in the effort?

If I would be among the best, I would chose medicine, being able to save people's lives would be something worthwhile for me, and people deserve to have their lives handled by someone competent.  Now if I only had a 10 percent chance then I wouldn't make people suffer for my short comings.  At that rate I'd probably go with one of my passions, I love art, I love drawing and painting.  With those odds I would chose art.

Would you give up half of what you now own for a pill that would permanently change you so that one hour of sleep each day would fully refresh you?

Alright so I would totally do this right now, main reason is I don't own very much so this would be a pretty easy decision, now ask me again in ten years when I have a family and mortgage and my answer would more than likely be no.  Well fate so has it that the question is being asked now, so my answer is yes.  I can't even imagine how much more I could get done with the extra time. I would love it if I wasn't tired trying to accomplish these things.

What was your most enjoyable dream? Your worst nightmare?

 Wow getting personal aren't we?  Haha.  My most enjoyable dream...hmmm...I usually don't remember a lot of my dreams, so I don't know if this was my most enjoyable but it was fun.  I was with a certain gentleman that will remain unnamed, and we were being chased by a group of people from a secret society that thought we had information that I didn't know we did.  The entire dream was like a Dan Brown book, it was scary, suspenseful, playfully romantic, and then it ended.  I was really sad after that one, I tried falling back to sleep but it didn't work.  Haven't dreamt of anything like that since or at least not that I remember. *sigh*  Now worst nightmare, I can count how many I've had (4) and I remember each one just as clearly. I'll give the summarized version, in every single one of those dreams I've lost everyone that I hold dear to my heart and I've always woken up crying.  Certainly not fun dreams but they do help put things into perspective.

Question 33

What is the greatest accomplishment of your life? Is there anything you hope to do that is even better?

It probably won't be the greatest accomplishment of my life but it's one of the greatest so far.  This past January I said "To hell with fear" and went sky diving.  Jumped from 12,500 ft at Lake Perris. It was definitely one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life and I'm  planning on doing it again but next time from 18,000 ft in Santa Barbara.

Would you accept twenty years of extraordinary happiness and fulfillment if it meant you would die at the end of the period?

 Ooof! I do want my life to mean something in this world or at least for me to feel like I did something worth doing. I'm going to go with yes, I'd rather have 20 years of extraordinary than 60 years of mundane.

Question 31

If you Knew there would be a nuclear war in one week, what would you do?

START DIGGING!!!! haha.   Well I guess I'd try to get the ones I loved and go to the mountains, get into as deep a cave as we could and wait it out. If there's any chance of surviving I guess that would be our best bet.  It would probably be a nuclear wasteland after but can't argue with your most basic human instinct. Survive.

Question 30

Would you rather be given $10,000 for your own use or $100,000 to give anonymously to strangers? What if you could keep $1,000,000 or Give away $20,000,000?

For the first question I would rather give away $100,000 because to be honest there really isn't much long lasting good that I could do with $10,000.   As for the second, keeping the $1,000,000, I'm pretty sure greed would win out on that one, there are so many things that I could do with that amount to make it grow and take care of the ones I loved with it.  Sorry, I'm only human.

Have you ever hated anyone? If so, why and for how long?

I do hate someone; I hate this person because for the last nine years this person has caused nothing but pain and dissension for my family.  This isn't something I think I can easily forgive especially as it is still ongoing.

What is your most treasured memory?

Well I don't know if it's my most cherished but it's the only one of its kind that I have.  I have one memory of my mother, my father, and myself, just the three of us.  I didn't grow up with either of them so it's happy and sad in a weird way.  I was 12-years-old and had gone to work with my Dad in Los Angeles and my mother worked maybe 10 minutes from him, so my father and I decided we'd call her and meet for lunch.  We went to a Carl's Jr. and I don't remember the exact location, but I still remember exactly what I ate ( a spicy chicken sandwich), I also remember sitting across from both of them (they actually sat next to each other) and I remember thinking "Is this what it feels like? To have your mom and dad together?"  Like I said not necessarily a happy memory but an important one to me.

If God appeared to you in a series of vivid and moving dreams and told you to leave everything behind, travel alone to the Red Sea and become a fisherman, what would you do? What if you were told to sacrifice your child?

Um I wouldn't do it, I have some pretty vivid dreams to begin with so I'd probably pass it off as one of those.  Now if he appeared to me and proved he was God then maybe I would.  As far as being able to sacrifice my child, NOPE! Wouldn't do it no matter what, I'd burn a million times over before I did that.
